Description of 🔋 The Ultimate Power Management Solution: Progressive Dynamics PD9105V TCMS Charge Wizard
The Charge Wizard has been shown to increase battery life by 2 to 3 times or more. Uses microprocessor technology to add intelligent charging capability. Constantly monitors the RV battery and automatically adjusts the converter output voltage based on the battery’s charge status. Four charging modes: Boost, Normal, Storage and Equalization. Use for chargng flooded lead-acid batteries and AGM batteries.
Fast delivery and very easy installation. Plugged in, powered on and voila. It modulates current so you don't overcharge your home batteries, which in turn means much longer life and better performance.
I have a compatible PD power converter in my motorhome. It plugs right in and works great. I left the van plugged in for a month and every time I check the house and chassis batteries are the correct voltage. I would definitely recommend and buy again.
I ordered one of these a year and a half ago and it worked great. The time it took me to charge the batteries from the generator was greatly reduced. The problem is that it broke a few weeks ago. This is a back order. I hope that I can live on it for more than a year and a half.
A simple, inexpensive and easy to install device designed to protect your batteries from overcharging when you are using your RV for a long time. I don't understand why you just can't integrate this into all progressive dynamics charging converters that are standard on new motorhomes. How much could it cost extra $5? No wonder the motorhome industry in this country enjoys a well-deserved reputation as a company that mostly strives for the lowest common denominator!
Installed after boiling water and damaging some batteries. I left my mobile home permanently connected to the land network during the interior work and the batteries drained prematurely. They were old batteries. After installing two new deep cycle lead-acid batteries, I kept adding water about every third week. After installing this product I monitored the water closely and it's holding up like a rock. Wonderful! I've also noticed that my new batteries hold a charge much better and last longer.
I've just received a used camper and after waiting hours for the battery to charge on my last camping trip, looked a bit into the inverter that came with it. I was pleasantly surprised when I found them and saw how cheap they are. So it used to charge at about 13.4 volts and 12 amps, and after a few hours the current dropped to about 6 amps. With this guy it starts out at 14.2 volts and 14 amps which drops to around 10 after a while. Overall, it charges at least twice as fast and then goes into
My converter is Inteli Power 9160A and it comes standard with only one charging mode (normal 13.6V), which may contain the electrolyte will evaporate if left to act for a long time. Adding a charge master provides 3 voltages and 4 modes (boost-14.4v, normal-13.6v, storage-13.2 and desulfation-14.4). This extends the life of your batteries. It also provides the voltage required to operate lithium batteries with a standard converter (14.4 V). If you're thinking about upgrading to lithium, you…
Pros
Excellent overall performance
Cons
I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
Like many others, our 2004 motorhome was equipped with a 'dumb' program (fixed voltage) built into its standard converter that provides 12 volts DC for the bus when connected to shore power, as well as for charging too home. battery pack. When I recently needed to replace my home batteries I chose the Trojan T-105 and wanted to provide a better charge profile so they run better and last longer. Our previous camping experience hasn't validated the need for an inverter (which usually comes with…
