Measurement not accurate. had to be accurate so that no new additional mounting holes had to be drilled. If you're starting from scratch and drilling holes, size doesn't matter.

Exactly what I was looking for. I installed them on the undercover of my RAM 1500 so I can bind things to it. Went like clockwork. It looks very clean and installation was easy.

I love these things I put three on each side of the truck two on the back door and two on the top corners of the cab no matter how high or high it is. They seem to be holding up very well. I had no problem if I buy another truck I will take another set

They work very well on my 2011 Chevy Colorado pickup. However, I have chosen to attach three to each side on the top inside edge of both sides of the body. I wanted them to be functional but not necessarily on the outside of the bed. I like the fact that they are aluminum. I bought my own stainless steel screws to mount them.

These things aren't rated to any particular breaking point and feel flimsy, not with ratchet straps or anything else with a lot of resistance. Made from a metal pan they look cool and if there was a more durable version I'd be totally screwed, cool idea but I went with D-rings from port freight. If you want something that isn't under a lot of stress that might be fine, otherwise not.

Nothing special. They have a slot in them that appears to be for a spring to keep them closed when not in use. You have no feather. Some of the ones I had years ago had this and these are supposed to have this so it was obviously discontinued to save money. As a result, they vibrate and rattle despite the slight rib designed to prevent this. They have neat little #10 sheet metal screws to hold them in place and you won't strain them too much with a ratchet strap.

I have bought these hooks for every truck I own. It's always a little nerve wracking to drill into the side of a new truck to install them, but over the years they've proven so useful and practical that I can't imagine a truck without them. I ordered (3) sets (six hooks total) and one hook came with the wrong size screws. The heads of two of the four screws were too big to fit in the hook body.
