This was a second purchase of the Curb Alert system that I made recently. The first one was the CA5 unit which was advertised as "compatible" with the C7 Corvette, which it wasn't. I took my time to install this device. You should not rush as the end result will be exactly what you put into it. Following all advice gotten, I installed it per the best guidance. In taking my time (about 2 1/2 hours), it works perfectly from the get-go. I just got back from a 4 hour each way round trip visit. It chirped a couple of times each way. I purchased this curb alert system and installed it on my new 1LT 2017 GS. Install took about 3 hours however if I did it again I could probably do it in 1 hour. Works great and really helps with parking and you can barely see it on the car. The video is of me pulling the car up to a "curb" and the three beeps you hear are the curb alert system.

Installed exactly like the video shows for a C7 corvette. Does not work and I cannot complete setup. Called tech support because they would not answer my email. Explained the issue and the series of beeps coming from the box. They said they didn’t know why it was making the beeping sound. Factory reset did not work. I had to buy 2 of them, the plug from the sensor to the box is easy to break , be careful when tucking your wires . Thanks for attention.

It has numerous false alarms during daily driving on the road with no apparent obstruction. Nope, waste of money for me.

Product does what is says it does.protect your front bumper. I have the 2017 Grand Sport w/o front cameras, and wanted a warning system for high curbs. The installation was not bad at all. Just Youtube the installation video and follow it. Instead of placing the sensor under the bumper, I placed it in the grill and it works beautifully. For C7 corvette that has front splitters or been lowered. This curb alert works great. No more worries about damaging your front spoilers whenever parking etc. AAAA++++

Keeps my Corvette front spoiler from hitting the curb. I had it installed rather than doing it myself. I did have to go back once and have it adjusted but it has worked very well since then. Very happy as it makes parking where there are curbs much easier.
