I bought this pump to replace a fountain pump and it has run flawlessly and basically 24/7 for over 3 years. This pump is rated at 160 GPH (like my previous pump), 10 watts and has a 4.0 foot lift factor. My fountain is a small urn that stands on a small pedestal. The pump is needed to lift the water from the base about 20 inches and then pour it down the sides of the tank. Although the manufacturer rates this pump at 160 GPH, it can barely lift water 20 inches, let alone the advertised 48…

I really just needed a small replacement pump for my very small pool fountain. This thing is powerful so I had to turn it down to the minimum. It's quieter than the original pump that came with it, so I'm very happy with it. All in all a great purchase. The only issue I had, which really isn't an issue since my fountain is small, is the way the hose was folded as another reviewer said, leaving a few permanent kinks in the hose. Not what you see, pump nozzle firmly integrated in the body, no ribs to hold the hose, 0.33" diameter, with 0.33" hose and small black hose with 0.33 bis .33 socket-socket. I think that's it.
