Slightly large. The girth was perfect, but it was too big at the shoulders and the front was choking his throat. Not suitable. I think it would be great for a dog with a long neck. The third seller agreed to accept the return, so we're happy about that.

I wouldn't say this vest is soft. It's stiffer which makes it well made. I definitely love the design. I would buy a Puppia harness again. It works a little. My Shih Tzu usually comes in a medium, but for this vest I ordered a size L, which fits me perfectly. Please follow the measurement instructions.
