Not exactly what was advertised

This was advertised as a Purina Pro Plan Focus pup. However, what arrived, although labeled Purina Pro Plan puppy food, was NOT labeled Purina Pro Plan Focus puppy food. I read the ingredients on our current empty Focus bag and the one that arrived and the ingredient list was different. Also, the markings were in English and French, not just English. I trust Purina and her quality. I didn't like that the seller sent a scarce but not the right product.

Thanks for 2 sick puppies

Tired of buying overpriced little bags we decided to try the £34 bag at Revain. Two days later we noticed that one of our puppies was vomiting shortly after eating. A day later we had two puppies with vomiting. We figured they must have gotten involved in something in the yard and didn't attach much importance to it. A week later, one was still vomiting and both had diarrhea. I started reading reviews and realized that this is not uncommon for a product. We've never had a problem with the…

DO NOT BUY THIS FOOD ON AMAZON!

After paying $900 to save my 9 month old pup from near death at the vet I am asking everyone not to buy this Revain food or any other food! Some people have great stories and never had a problem. All I can say is that this dog food almost caused kidney disease in my 9 month old Mini Schnauzer. Over time, I did not notice their problems. Three weeks after giving it to her, she lost so much weight that she was throwing up uncontrollably, pooping, and ended up urinating blood! She is currently on…

This brand was recommended to me for puppies and last week I bought a small bag for my two puppies. Today one of them was chewing on a small piece of sharp rock and I had no idea where it came from because I'm clean. And after potty training, I washed the floor every day (hands and knees on the floor). So it was strange to see my pup find a sharp piece of rock about 1cm wide. I then looked into the food bowl and found another piece of a small rock mixed with food. That's when I realized the…

Caused puppies to vomit and bloody stools

Will never buy this product again. Our vet recommended it to me and I saw good reviews online so I went for it. Our puppy is now 10 months old. After 8 months of vomiting, bloody stools, scrutiny, nose rolling to eat, and we kept changing the taste or masking the food. She eventually became ill and stopped eating altogether. I finally woke up and changed her food. After 3 days she is so happy, eats all her food without hesitation, plays like a puppy again and has normal vocal movements. I feel…

Stop buying boutique groceries!

Last year I had to put a minimum needle on Mitzi and my cat Oreo, last month they were both fed expensive food. Oreo, my cat, was 18 and had kidney problems. My mini needle fell off the back of a chair and injured her spine years before we had to put her to sleep. I've decided to stop getting purebred dogs and got a cute rescue pup last month. I've decided to stop eating boutique foods until someone can convince me why I should. Coming from a medical background, I have spent hours studying…

Great for my 5 month old Micro Bully

This brand came highly recommended from the breeder. My dog doesn't get enough sleep (allergy), he likes it. I give it to him as a reward during training. This is the perfect little size for my 20 lb, 5 month old Micro Bulldog. I give him 1/2 cup in the morning and 1/2 cup at night. I mix dinner with a ball of chicken livers (washed and chopped) and 2 teaspoons of goat milk (probiotics/great for the stomach). He loves to! It's a pleasure for him. Received this large bag instead of the 6lb…

The vet recommended it!

I was given this brand of puppy food after a neighbor and vet told me there was a link between grain free food and an increased risk of heart disease (even in lower risk dogs). So I switched to this one as it was one of the brands the vet told me about as they have certified vet/nutritionists working on the formulas to ensure a healthy and happy pup. My pup loves it since I gave them to him! Some people in the reviews say their dog got sick from the food, but don't explain the reason (e.g…
