The handle falls off. c Hand tools

When I first used this crimping tool, the handle fell off. It slides back but anything that requires a hard press and the grip falls off again. Very annoying. Upon closer inspection, the manufacturer makes very little effort to ensure the handles are securely attached. Looks like 1 or 2 drops of cheap glue were used. The seller doesn't offer a full refund for returns, so I'm sticking with it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly designed

The bottom handle fell off.

You have to squeeze quite hard to crimp the connection. After about 30 crimps, the soft plastic grip cap flexed over a small spike holding it in place. The plastic pen cap slid halfway down the pen every time I used it. I broke the grip cover and wrapped the grip with sealing tape and it fits fine. But it has to be glued at the factory. Who is testing these things?

  • Dope 🔥

High quality at a low price.

This tool is made in China by the best experts. You can buy things from China that have multiple grades of quality. It is manufactured to a very high level of quality. You can buy other brands on Ali.ress. They are made of steel that will rust. This tool does not rust easily. The finishes are of good quality, the crimper is well lubricated and very well assembled. They only pay $5 more than a similar set found at Ali. It's worth it. And you get it in days, not weeks. This purchase was worth it.

Using Qibaok Insulated Wire Ratchet Crimping Tool

Good tool but packaging lacks everything you need to know to use it 'properly'. There is a right way and a wrong way to insert a terminal into a crimping tool. Where the colored dots are is the open end of your cable entry connector. The star-shaped dial hit and missed, I found its setting to be good as it came (second notch as shown). Your finished crimp terminal will have "FLAT" in the location marked on the terminal. You can also find information about KLEIN TOOLS 3005CR in web search as it…

Doesn't crimp tight enough - junk

The first crimp I bought failed the pull test on the smallest terminals. It didn't matter how tight I hooked it up or how much wire I stuck in. The long-term position shrank even more. The cut was not correct for the crimp stop. I could fix it with a grinder, but why? Sanding would have taken the coating off so I came back to get a replacement. Exchange is nonsense too. The "stops" were also improperly sharpened. no quality control. I bought it because of the good reviews. I don't know how they

They're terrible for power and hand tools

I have used old school style crimping tools all my life but have always found them a bit cheap and as I sometimes need to crimp fittings professionally I decided to try something better. I wanted them to like it and gave them a chance, but I didn't go. First, they don't actually crack. They have a ratchet function, but it doesn't increase or improve your leverage or crimping power. All the power comes from the pivot points. The ratchet feature only locks the tool in the semi-closed position…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Doesn't work with recommended terminals

Additional verification: I've since found through Revain reviews that I'm not the only one frustrated with crimping tools that don't fit 20-22AWG wire. These are the red connectors. I truly believe that Revain needs to listen to these complaints and get the Chinese manufacturers to stop the false advertising. Yes, I'm still looking for a crimping tool for thin wire. When many connectors are to be made, using an iron wedge fastened to a log is a waste of time. :-) I would like to thank you all…

Poor quality and wrong crimping

Based on the five star ratings this connector crimping tool must have been a good product. Did not work. Problems: * Poor quality - the jaws of this crimping machine do not match. The upper and lower jaws are not perfectly aligned and will move towards each other when inserting the crimp dies. This only has one crimping tool that performs a crimp. The teeth of the dies are narrow and do not align with the opposing die, resulting in minimal flex range and poor bonding. Whether it's the result…

Do not even think about it.

I walked back and forth for a long time looking for crimping pliers for shrink connectors. There were a few bad reviews about them, but with an overall rating of 4.7 I just assumed it was people who couldn't figure out how to use them. No, it's garbage. I picked them up with a pack of 250 Qibaok connectors. They simply don't work with the corresponding proprietary connectors. I've researched, tested different methods (forward, backward, pinching different points) and the results were the same…
