I installed this on a 2012 Dodge Journey. I couldn't install it myself because I couldn't hold the gate high enough when trying to install it. With one other person, the installation only took a few minutes. I watched a few YouTube videos for instructions. Great replacement, no problems at all.

If one of these posts comes out of the elevator door, it can be dangerous. If your door is the same as mine, it will take two people to hold it or it will slam shut. It is very difficult to get things in and out while holding the door up. They were easy enough to replace and the door worked perfectly again.

When I first measured them I thought they were 0.25 inches too long. However, I decided to give it a try. Then the rod immediately went away. Just put a new one in and you're done. No spare screws or bolts. My son held the door open for me while I removed and replaced it. Replaced both racks in 3 minutes. Now it works like new again! Good product! Sturdy and well built!
