Painful to Work With

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say with confidence that this product is barely worth the time or effort. Though the colors of the fabric are beautiful, the intricate design made it difficult to work with and produced a lackluster result.

Pros
  • Beautiful fabric colors
Cons
  • Difficult design, unsatisfactory end result

Not for the faint of heart

Nice quilt but unless you are a VERY experienced quilter skip this one. I find the instructions very difficult to follow and a lot of omissions on what should have been included. This template includes downloadable hotfix pages that you must fill out before you begin. I will finish this blanket but will not be a regular customer of any of their products.

Pros
  • Pattern
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Try an alternative color scheme for a completely different look!

I bought this pattern and it's amazing when you change the colors. I made turquoise and everyone said it was beautiful. The directions are not difficult. Gluing paper is easy. Find a video on You Tube to learn how not to sew on pattern pieces so you can use the pattern again and again if you like. You can find alternative colors in the pictures on Google. You can also join Quiltster.com, which has most of Judy Nijmeyer's patterns, and you can upload images of your fabrics into patterns to see…

  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
