Poor design good for auger drill

Don't buy this drill. It's not a 1/2" bit, it's 12mm. The feed screw threads are too small and clogged with wood bits and won't feed the chisel. The first hole I drilled was like drilling with a dull drill bit. Dignity I would not recommend this company nor would I buy from them again.

Will not drill redwood stump - only suitable for softwood

I managed to drill holes in redwood stumps, but it only drilled through the soft, rotten parts of the tree. He refused to cling to the harder parts of the tree/wood after he did once and almost broke my wrist from the drill bit pushing me away from me. After that it just faded away.
