R3 Promo Pocket Classic Clamp Pack Review

I have only used this light for one project but it was a huge project for me. I can't count the pocket holes I've drilled. Anyway, I had to learn at the beginning, especially since I did NOT buy a ferrule. I thought it was a waste of money because I had "something", "everything" to store them, or so I thought. Turns out I had some but it wasn't easy to use so it took longer. The only reason I didn't buy the clamp was because I thought it was supposed to be cheaper. So my recommendation is this.

I wish Kreg mounts weren't that expensive but they make a good product. Easy to use and for $50 it's an easy way to really improve your weekend carpentry. I wish they sold a cheaper option that didn't include all the extras like bags of different size screws, hole plugs, carry case, Kreg clamp plate. Maybe that's fine for some people, but I really just need a mount and a bit. A word of advice, if you're buying this for a 2x4 project, this 2-barrel mount isn't what you need. The barrels are too…

This is my first time owning a pocket hole gauge and I just love what this thing can do. I highly recommend using this product with the Kreg Face Clamp as it makes working with it much quicker and easier. The device is actually attached to the clamp. So by inserting a few pockets into the workpiece, you can quickly clamp, drill and move on to the next spot. I love the device. This Kreg mount makes pocket holes with little to no effort. I have used it to build beehives and repair furniture and will use it to build a chicken coop. ADVANTAGES: easy to use. I bought this template because I wanted to get into woodworking and wanted the best fit/finish that comes with pocket hole drill bits, biscuits, dowels or other fasteners.
