This is a review of a universal iPad tablet stand. This is a very good stand; It comes with a spring-loaded tablet holder and a three-section extendable tripod. When all 3 parts of the tripod are fully extended, the iPad is about 4 1/2 feet, which is pretty easy to read while standing (I'm about 5'11"). Maybe we're doing it wrong. We set up the stand very simply. But when we tried to attach our full-size iPad to the spring mount, the springs were so tight it was very difficult. But at least we could do it. However, we were won over by the secure attachment to the 4 posts that are supposed to hold it on its stand. The stand is too light and the base is too narrow to stably hold a 12.9 inch iPad, especially in stage combat. Depending on the leg orientation, it won't stand up at all compared to the iPad. iPad is heavy enough to easily tip over under its own power and not hold on until you support it. This stand was too small for my Fire Tablet 8 (my fault, I didn't read it because it says dimensions and compatibility). This actually holds my Fire Tablet 8 by the corners even in the case. This is a great stand for my iPad when I'm practicing on stage or at home on the ukulele. It's very durable and I was able to use the instrument hanger that is used to hold the music stand and hang the ukulele on it. I like the adjustable height so I can play sitting or standing. I had to write a review for my iPad replacement tripod again. Although this one will be back soon that's why it got a star but I have to take into account today's which was a 7-10 inch stand which I rate 5+ not to mention the great customer service I have got it from customer service (ShangKuFashion - Ruby).
