Rancho RS62125 rockGEAR Rear Skid Plate & Control Arm Skid - Red Kit (Pair) Review

The slide is great but the screws they sent are the wrong threads. The screw had a fine thread and the nut had a coarse thread. Caused quite a problem when trying to install.

Note that a part may not always fit in a Jeep JL. You can penalize yourself for having to cut/sand your well painted part. Holes misaligned by about 1/8 inch. Also the help of the customer service does not solve the problem, they did not help. If you buy them, be prepared to make modifications to make them work.

These skid plates are of the highest quality, however the nylon locknuts included with the suspension arm bolt kit are not the correct thread. I fixed it with a factory nut with the correct pitch. Little problem. The reason for the 2 stars is that there were 2 skid plates on the driver's side in the box. Looks like Revain did "Walmart" and filled returns without testing the product. Unfortunately, Revain sent me a replacement straight away, but I had to wait a few days for it.

I recently purchased a Rancho RS62125 RockGEAR plate rear shock and Revain red arm guide kit for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The kit included 2 very well made Rock Guard mounts that protected the rear lower arm and shock mounts on the rear axle. After receiving the kit, I checked the hardware that came with it.
