Very good shocks! best in parts

Perfect match for my Mitsubishi Sportero L200. Being able to have multiple settings is very versatile for many roads. I'm keeping mine at 5 and it's a very neutral trip! The installation is very easy!

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • frequency

I had to replace my rear shock absorbers which were rough.

I had to replace rear shock absorbers which were cheap on my jeep and they helped. You wouldn't even guess that you're driving in the same car now.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Attention MOPAR lovers.

Used these shocks on the rear of my Road Runner. These are the shocks that Calvert Racing recommends for their racing suspensions on MOPAR B bodies. I bought them here on Amazon because of the lower price. I also like their customization so I can fine tune my car's handling.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Lots of customization with Rubicon mounts

I have a CJ-7 and am converting from a Skyjacker to a Rubicon Express. I now have these shocks on all four corners and Ruby only in the back. They won't beat you even in the toughest conditions. I can't wait to finish the whole Rubicon. Then maybe I'll update it. Much luck!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I replaced all the shocks (which were Rancho RS5000) on my 1994 Ford F150 with Rancho RS9000 series shocks and was very pleased. The shocks were no more difficult to install than any other shocks and I had no trouble installing them. Shock absorbers are easily adjusted to your liking. I'm very happy with the ride quality I've been able to get with these shocks and I love knowing that I can adjust more or less stiffness if needed.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The shock had no support

I don't know if it's a shock or a defect. Those front shocks were installed and the Xterra feels like the engine is about to hit the ground when I go through a speed bump at slow speed. The watch faces are all set to 9 and it seems that when set to 0 there is no support at all. UPDATE - look, I don't know if it was just my beats, I love the ranches, they are a top product. but if you want to buy shock absorbers, get them from your nearest mechanic. At least you can go to them and fix theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Adjustment knobs don't work properly

I have them on my '96 Ford F-250 7.3L Powerstroke and they were great for the first year. However, I'm writing this review because I just hooked up my trailer and adjusted the shock absorbers like last year. The adjustment knob on each shock only moves 3 clicks and feels stuck. I just sprayed some WD-40 on the adjustment knobs to see if it comes off the adjustment knobs. If not I will try to return them due to a manufacturing defect. Big shocks when you can't make adjustments to make you payโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Almost never

Exceeded expectations

I struggled with the cost for a week before I bought it. The adjustment options sounded good, but I wasn't sure how to set up the ride in my particular case (standard '96 F250 crew cab with a very uncomfortable ride). I can only say wow! I'm still amazed at the difference. I never thought a sturdy, rickety old truck could drive almost like a car. And so far I've only used the lowest settings. I figured I might have to speed up the ride a bit when towing our trailer, but I made the short tripโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • Damaged
