Fast and great price!

Perfect fit for my 2004 Mercury outboard. It was $120 cheaper than my local ATV and Marine store! Would recommend this to everyone!

Provided that starts about 30 before he died

Installed last summer and ran the boat about 30 times before it stopped working. The boat starts well and does not require a long start.

Great value for money Replacement parts

I've read reviews from people saying this starter is too big and won't work with the engine. I never had this problem with my 2000 Mercury 25hp. The starter worked like clockwork. I've run it on water several times since installing it and never had a problem.

Didn't work for me in starters

I have a 2001 Mercury 25 years old. Looks like an exact replacement for the old starter, however the gear assembly is about 0.1" taller at the top and therefore hardly rubs on the rotating engine head, rendering it unusable. Everything else fits perfectly. I will try to salvage part of the old starter as the bushings were the only ones that failed.
