Yamaha Raptor 700R Filter works perfectly

This filter works great with the Raptor 700r. You just need to drill through the top of the filter (the rubber on top, not the filter) dead center and use the standard filter's wing nut screw. Works better than the $110 version and takes 5 minutes. Just make sure you drill through the center and don't over-drill the hole to avoid air leaks. Runs great now, very impressed as you can tell the engine gets more air at higher revs.

Good filter for everything except "SMT air filter adapter for Yamaha Raptor 700 "

This filter DOES NOT fit SMT AIR FILTER adapter recommended when buying on Amazon SMT air filter adapter and outerwear sleeve filter . Save money and explore "RD-0720 and RU 3130" filters. I bought them for my Raptor 700. Works perfectly! But only after drilling the mounting hole

I have given up on UNI filters as they collect so much dirt that they restrict airflow and the oil you spray becomes too sticky and dirty to clean! I gave the K&N filter 1 star for installation. I drilled a 3/8 hole in the "&" of the k&n. The Raptor 700r airbox is not designed to hold filters with clips that they slide onto and bolt onto. I felt that the clip and filter could just slip off on jumps and rough terrain. This pre-drilled hole allows me to use the stock thumbscrew and screw on. I…
