This was a 5 minute repair that was very inexpensive and I, a female, installed it with a male friend/partner who held the decklid of a 2006 Chrysler 300 for me. How much fun I had playing mechanic! I purchased these in October 2020 after my mother was hit in the head by a trunk lid that fell on her during a hurricane. It's not bad enough that this happened to me, my daughter and my son, but when it finally happened to my mother, I knew I had to act. It sat in the box for a while because I asked my husband to put it on and waited. Finally today he told me to look for videos on YouTube. That's all I needed. 10 minutes and a screwdriver and we're safe again!
