Doesn't hold up well

I mounted this light twice, making sure the bracket snapped it securely into place, only for it to fly off the handle during transport. Niterider makes very good products and I have never had this problem.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Only lasted an hour

According to the specification it should work for 2 hours at maximum speed. That's why I bought them because I like driving at night and 4 hours at 450 lumens sounded great. Used it for the first time today, fully charged, went into walk mode after 1:12, 20 minutes on low and 52 minutes on high. I am or at least was a big Niterider fan. I still have 3 Lumines. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • So-so

Need better customer care!

Bought the same version from another seller. I love it so I bought this one from Revain which has a lower price and free shipping! Everything looked great, but it didn't work! Charged well but didn't turn on at all. I had to go back and get another one! I hope they could have better quality control! There is no living person to support customers. You must fill out the form or leave an email!

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • weak

Ride it tonight. When I started it was fully charged. I didn't have it at full power all the time, not even close. According to Niterider, this light should last 2 hours at 900 lumens. My light went out 85 minutes after turning it on. In total we were absent for 2 hours (1 hour 41 minutes on the way). When I turned it on, it was initially at half power. I would give everything on the descents. When we stopped I reduced the power. Considering I only turned it on after 20 minutes of driving, it…

  • Easy to use

Nonexistent warranty support

Ground for NiteRider, are you still in business? I have had NiteRider Micro series flashlights for a long time. Among our six bikes, my wife and I share several flashlight models. NiteRider claims to have a two-year warranty on the light. However, after one of the bulbs failed less than a year after purchase, I discovered that the warranties only extended to the seller. NiteRider has a great website but after trying several times to contact them via their customer service number about problem…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No performance

Anemic brightness, ridiculous cargo space, short battery life

I've been a fan of Nite Rider flashlights for probably 20 years, the cadmium batteries didn't run out and I couldn't replace them. Now I ride a lot at night again and have tried a couple of the latest generation Nite Rider headlights and found that they just twitch. I drive where there are no street lights so I really need a bright light to illuminate road hazards and this thing just doesn't help. Worse, the place to connect the light is terribly impractical. You almost have to rip the damn…

  • New

Powerful flashlight for MTB but with scratches

Light rules! I like that it's small and powerful. Also very solid build quality. It had 5 starts but mine arrived with scratches on top and side (see photo). The bag it came in says 'new item' and it doesn't look like it had any dirt or dust in it or anything that would indicate previous use, so I'm guessing it may have been during the shipping or in production, but at a cost of $70. label, it must arrive undamaged. Considering the light still does exactly what it's supposed to and works even…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Periodicity
