Maybe size down for my opinion

Got this for our franchise. Fits her pretty well, probably could have gone down a size. Hard to keep in place since she doesn't have a tail. But she loves wearing it and looks so cute

XL perfect fit 45 lb dog

My 45 lb Aussie/Corgi mix loves being clothed during the winter. The XL fit perfectly on her. I was able to fit it over her perfectly and it covers all her bits. She does not need the protective part currently so I folded it in and secured over her chest and it stayed in place leaving her open to go to the rest room un hindered.

I think my dog's the problem.

I ordered this for a 50lb (yes, overweight) Austrailian Shepherd that was anxiously licking his body raw. I needed something that covered both the belly and the back. This works great!My issue is he doesn't have a tail (it was docked).so the hole for the tail kinda just falls over his rear end.He doesn't mind wearing this and as of now I think we've broken his anxious habit! Success!

Cute, well-made surgical suit

This suit is a stretchy swimsuit material. It is adjustable by velcro for easy on/off. There is a tail hole but it covers the genital area. It can be folded and adjusted with the velcro to leave that area open for "bathroom” use. I am including pics of the suit on with full coverage and folded up to expose the genital area. The Small size fits my 9 pound Havanese loosely and my 14 pound Schnauzer snugly. I have not needed to use it for post-op yet. I think its effectiveness would depend a lot…

Also works for cats

I used this on one of my rescue cats to keep his siblings from trying to nurse on him. Apparently, it is a comfort thing for them, and he just lets them do it, but his tummy gets irritated, so it needed to stop. I used this for a couple of days and now they just cuddle up, no more raw tummy! If you plan to use this for any length of time and don’t want to constantly have to take it off for you pet to potty, there is enough room for a diaper underneath, but that would need to be purchased…

Not made for a cat on my review.

This surgery suit is very cute. It’s very easy to put on a cat. But the but is a huge but – with two Ts. There’s no way for the animal to go to the bathroom without removing suit or at least peeling it back. It completely wraps around the cat. While it may be OK for a dog, which you are taking out to to the bathroom, it is not suitable for a cat -- though advertised as such -- because the cat is NOT going to tell you when it needs to go. Cute Suit for Recovery

I purchased this for an upcoming surgery my dog is having since I hate putting an e-collar on him. This suit has a cute pattern and is very soft. This will be perfect for keeping his surgical site clean and protected and making sure he is comfortable.

Works great best in my review

This dog surgery recovery body onesie works great. It has Velcro on the the sides and down the back to secure the onesie. It washes well and ready to wear again. I ordered it to help keep my small dogs diaper on at night. Works and is very comfortable for the dog. The fabric is soft and easy to get on your dog.
