Works perfectly.

May slip even if you reach the stop. Maybe they should put a rubber pad or something like that on the inside of the ring part so it will stick to the goal tube or plate and not slide around easily. Otherwise great product so far!

You are great. I was skeptical about buying them because I wasn't sure how they would work, but love them, they were so easy to use when you need to add power cords to a panel fence.

Perfect for us! fits collars

wire added in the stable. Our horses pushed our metal fence everywhere. We added a solar electrical component and wiring. We haven't found them to break easily. They have been with us for several weeks and not a single one has broken. Exactly what we were looking for!

Breaks in 5 months

Very disappointed that the clip portion of this item breaks so easily. I bought them in June and installed them in July to hold a set of electric fences along some paddock panels. Within 5 months at least 1/3 of these failed after part of the clamp broke where the two halves joined. Good idea in theory, but bad materials. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Frequency

Ideal for horizontal mounting on tubular railings.

Just a little tricky to fit the double snap jaws but perfect for a tight fit on a horizontal pipe. Use channel locks for security reasons. I have found that using my pocket knife to carefully pry open and align the locking jaws makes it easy to start the lock and then the channel locks fit perfectly. Remember to place it on the pipe with the wire slot UP, as you can't easily remove it once you've pinched it.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • unreliable

The idea and design of the fitting is great and it will do the job

I bought these to protect my cattle fence from horse nibbles and nibbles. The fit idea and design is great and it will do the job, but it is VERY flimsy and flimsy. They slide over the bar and rotate around the bar if any pressure is applied to them. That means you can't have voltage on them and you can't pull the protection. I had to tie them in other places to keep them stable, then they worked pretty well.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • So far so good

Temporary use only Best in Hand Tools

I thought they would fit my chain link fence posts but they were too big. We could still use them by running them with cut rubber tubing. Several of them broke within a week. They break where they snap, the plastic is of poor quality. I doubt they will last more than a year after being used to heat an entire morning. I tried to buy additional bags in anticipation of additional service but the item was sold out. If I can't replace them because the latches are broken, I'll rebuild the entire…

  • Handy item

Galvanized Chain Link Residential Fence

Does Not Fit Galvanized Mesh Top Railing. My fence was installed in 1958 and the clamp insulator diameter was too large. I managed by including a chain link or two in the clip to accommodate. This item still rotates unless I edit the top of the fence to wrap the clip's plastic insulator. Follow-up check within 2 months. They worked, but after 2 months in the Texas heat and sun I can honestly say that half the ones I installed have stopped working. AS INSTALLED, INSTALLED, WORKING. They're still
