I love free standing fridge freezer thermometers and THIS IS SO easy to read ! I placed it next to a working and accurate thermometer to verify its accuracy. After sitting together for a whole day, both showed the same temperature. I felt comfortable pulling out the old one to put in the freezer second. I have two thermometers in the fridge and two in the freezer (now). I'm glad the readings are easy to read and that it comes with a working battery. Good price, I recommend to everyone.

This thermometer uses standard 2032 type batteries. One battery was pre-installed but it was dead. Luckily I had a spare 2032 battery and the thermometer works great with my battery.
