It worked for about 9 months but I just closed the door and heard this little piece in the door snap so I open the door and close it again in the window I slipped down so I ripped it all apart and looked at the piece of plastic breaking the cheap stuff. I won't buy this again

Arrived quickly, watched YouTube videos to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid, switched everything in 15 minutes. The Philips 10mm and 8mm head is operational. Same speed as the other rear window is a huge relief, I used to be pissed off with the engine running, that was really good.

This was somehow made even cheaper than the OEM part which was a total junk. It broke in the same place after two weeks, as is usual with an OEM part, and after only two weeks. OEM lasted 19 years. Go to carparts.com and order the ones they sell there as they have replaced plastic rails with metal rails. They work much better. If you do this buy 2 extra screws as the OEM screws are self tapping screws that go into the plastic and do not screw into the metal plate they were replaced with.

Since it was cold here in Wyoming I didn't have a chance to install this until yesterday. I don't like the 2004 Dodge Dakota. The bolt pattern for the motor mount doesn't even come close. Even though I only opened the box yesterday I've been waiting a long time for it to be returned so I'm screwed now. Don't buy it if you want it to fit in a 2004 Dodge Dakota. This is the second unit we have installed and although they are quick and easy to install because they fit in our car this has happened twice in the last 6 months or so. where we installed our own with this product but had a mechanical install about a year ago. I don't know what the problem is and why the repair doesn't appear permanent. Maybe this is a problem coming from the car factory. If anyone has any thoughts on this fix please share. I see no value in a product that costs $40 and breaks within 2 weeks or a year. $40 is a fair price for a part like a power window that will last for years. It's not just this regulator or manufacturer, it's all of them. I have a 2003 Durango. I replaced the first outgoing regulator in 2015.
