Advertised because there was no single wire generator. I had to fit a new voltage regulator to convert it to single wire as advertised.

I recently plugged it in and it only seemed to run for a very short time and then it stopped putting out voltage. I'm not sure why and I can't contact anyone to see if there is a guarantee or not.

So far everything was fine. He was just as good as any other mechanic I've bought. Yanmar diesel in my boat with new engine. Only time will tell how long it lasts. I've bought Marine HD generators for $600 that fail after 6 months so I can have some spares on board at that price! T

I haven't finished the project I bought it for, but now I have one on the shelf and know it will only work for this project.
