THE BEST FOOD FOR CHICKS!

The perfect solution to keep your chick feed clean and avoid waste! Very easy to install on a 2 gallon square bucket. I'm so glad I tried these!

Excellent homemade feeder, less feed waste.

Works great so far. At 1-3 weeks of age I use a small port feeder for brown ISA chicks. At 4 weeks of age they started using a medium port feeder.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Doubt

Highly recommended! suitable for feeding and drinking products

Excellent product. You can turn almost anything into a feeder that fits any size you want. My chickens didn't have time at all to find food and sort things. I just put some food right on the edges and they sorted it out. I used a $9 Lowes lidded storage box, but the possibilities are endless. Order more than you need for additional feeders!

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Exactly What I Needed: Feeding and Watering Accessories

I already have a RentACoop feeder for my chickens so when I got my chicks I was looking for something small enough for them! This is the perfect solution, it comes in 2 sizes so a 'grow with me' set. My chicks are just over a week old and have settled in quickly, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Best of all, they no longer have pine shavings in their feed and they will already know how to use a full sized food bowl by the time they join the rest of the herd! HOORAY! RentACoopโ€ฆ

Just what I needed

They work great. Food does not spill or spoil. I used an empty cat litter bucket because of the straight sides and high height-to-base ratio. A taller container is better than a wider one because the birds have access to all of the feed and I don't have to keep repotting it. I put both the small and large ports in the same container so the birds can decide when to switch to the larger size. I was worried I wouldn't notice if they outgrew the smaller size, but this solution worked great. And the

Universal Homemade Feeder

I love that you can use whatever container you have on hand to create a tidy feeder. Quail are ridiculously dirty eaters! I first used a taped cardboard box for my young quail, then a regular plastic container with a lid (I used an old cheap soldering iron to cut (melt) the holes). I taped the cardboard at an angle so the food was on the openings are directed instead of wasting food across the food container Advantages: 1. The material of the opening is thick and durable 2.
