I bought this. I bought this because my pad came loose and was chewed. So instead of just buying the pads I bought the whole base. Guess what. Yup- THIS IS A LEAK. Why you might ask? Because the gasket does not fit into the base even after inserting-removing-3 times. Ready. I bought a brand new car and I don't need this game. He comes back. Too bad it would be a relief to have a simple fix like a working base.

I bought this to replace the blade in my 10 year old Magic Bullet which I use almost daily for protein shakes and smoothies. With this new blade it works like new and can handle frozen fruits and seeds again. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a magic bullet that still works and just needs a nice and sharp new blade. I'm definitely glad I didn't have to buy a new personal blender. After reading the reviews I was a bit concerned if this would work with my 10 year old Magic Bullet 1001A, but it handles both dry and wet content with ease. No leakage! Base doesn't fit my original mug. I have a 2006 model so I know it's original. The seller was great and sent a replacement free of charge. The second didn't work either. Knowing parts were coming from China, I realized I was taking a risk. Both were faulty but the seller is great at customer service and offered me a full refund without having to return either base. The fit was good and the unit seemed to do the job well - maybe 95% as good as the original. However, when I was blending a smoothie this morning, the blender stopped working and I thought the motor had died.
