Excellent quality! The only thing I had to do was solder the positive pole to the circuit board. The key fob I had had no connection to the battery and circuit board. For those carrying a 2011 335D or I key fob in this case, note the metal clip inside for the positive connection. Once I soldered it it was perfect.

Excellent key case. After changing the battery, I connected the cases together. It is difficult. Keep in mind that the body is slightly larger than the standard trailer, but I can confirm that this doesn't affect smooth insertion and removal from the ignition. Great buy and better than gluing the original case pieces together (you never know if you'll have to open the case again to change the battery or the glued cases will fall apart when valet handled).

This key fob case fits exactly like the OEM key fob that came with my BMW E60 (2008 530i). I had to cut up my original key fob to replace a battery that was no longer holding a charge. The cut keychain could still be used, but the cuts made it awkward to use. I popped the internal circuit board into this shell, snapped it in and it worked great for both the remote control function and the key slot. My original cut metal key also fits perfectly. I am very satisfied with this product.

The replacement J-ACCES key fob case is beautifully finished and almost impossible to tell apart from the original once you scrape off the black tape covering the BMW logo. Original BMW circuit board with original battery fits like a glove but not so with most replacement batteries. The original battery mounts flush with the board, while replacement feet hold the battery about 1/16 inch from the board. So far I'm pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a perfect match, but as far as I know it's pretty close.
