I've tried them all; this is the best

I have used a gasket, a food stopper you hand inflate and more. I live alone so I hate opening a bottle of good wine and drinking a glass and the next evening or maybe 2 nights later I pour another one and it tastes awful! I actually had a glass of wine with this cork after 4 nights. and it tasted like I just opened a bottle. Yes. No more wasting money because I have to pour bad tasting wine!

Really Extraordinary

As a longtime collector of fine wines, I tried REPOUR on four different very good bottles. Two of them opened and closed 5 times a week. There was no sign of oxidation. Wonderful. I never would have believed it, especially given the expensive and high tech systems that restaurants and sommeliers have been looking for for decades. As for those who seem to doubt the product, I'd respectfully say that if you throw in cheap, one-dimensional wine, don't expect anything better to come out of it.

Saves my wine 99% of the time

I've been using these since they first came out. They kept the parts of my bottles for weeks, months and days. Last time I had seven bottles left over from the tasting and I used Repour on each of them. We drank these bottles after 8 days and all but one were perfect. It has only failed twice in the last two years. And I agree with that. Nothing is perfect. Who knows why it didn't work on those two bottles. Considering the cost, I wouldn't use this for a cheap bottle of wine ($15 or less), but…

Doesn't do what it claims to do

In other words, Repour plugs didn't do what they promised at all. Several tests with white and red wine showed that the wine took on a bad taste within a few days and was largely undrinkable after a week. The "max drinking age" (in days) of wine by the glass barely exceeded what I would expect from simply recorking a bottle, and definitely less than (reusable!) vacuum solutions. I made sure the seal was tight. , and corks are not reused for different bottles. I've also tried it both in and out…

  • I won't say anything

Works well but not perfectly

I love red wine, but I've found that as I get older, in my 60's, my body tolerates white and rosé wines better for everyday use. Unfortunately, most of these wines don't do well on the second day, and it usually takes me about three days to drink a bottle on my own. I've found Repour to be pretty good at preventing wine from going off-flavor after it's been open for more than a day. Just downed a small amount of wine, maybe 2 ounces, that had been in the bottle for 3 days and then opened a new…

Wonderful! The wine stayed fresh for almost a month!

Amazing! The wine was stored for almost a month! These are a much cheaper alternative to the Coravine system and they really work! I tried them on a bottle of Cabernet and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Both are good mid-range wines. I've been drinking them, probably a glass every other day, for almost a month. Sometimes I pour a little less than a standard 5 ounce glass. At the end of the bottle I could tell that the wine had changed a bit, especially the white wine. However, it didn't taste…

An amazing way to enjoy good wine by the glass!

Okay. I have been a wine lover for many years. My wife and I don't always drink the same thing. I can't drink a bottle alone at dinner. Well, I COULD, but that's not a good idea for reasons I won't go into here. The problem is that wine often (read always) spoils before we finish the bottle. So we drink little wine alone, if at all at home. We have reserved wine for events when we are with friends or family or when we are out and can order by the glass. I've tried everything within reason…

The best thing! in kitchen and dining room

I saw that they were lab tested but decided to do a little field experiment myself. I figured I'd pour a glass, do a repour, pour two glasses next week (to get more air in the bottle and really test the thing), then wait two weeks and pour the third glass and wait another week and pour the last glass that remains in the bottle. 28-day test. Okay, I don't have a PhD. slightly less in chemistry, but I was able to recruit a NASA scientist friend who is doing a Ph.D. in Planetary Sciences to check…
