Will not stick to included pads

Luckily I haven't had to use this yet so I hope it works. It comes with two sticky pads, but even after following the instructions carefully, it doesn't stay on my Tesla's center console. Keeps falling off. Now I have it hanging in the car, but it's useless if I get into an accident. I have to find a better way to hold it.

  • Ergonomic design for a secure grip.

  • No power

Potential Rescuer Really

Irreplaceable even for slightly paranoid drivers. Reservoirs and other large bodies of water seem to be ubiquitous these days. When your car slides off the road and plunges into water, this tool will help you survive by cutting through a stuck seat belt and smashing a side window for a quick escape. Looks good in the car, noticeable in an emergency but not flashy like bright orange. Unlike older models that snap into a black plastic shell larger than the hammer itself, this one snaps onto an unobtrusive mount. It's much easier to hold than the standard orange hammers. Not only is the handle larger, it also holds your hand more securely with a

Pros
  • Effectively cuts seat belts and smashes car windows.
Cons
  • Low repairability

Extremely impractical to handle and use.

Extremely cumbersome to handle and use. The supposed "joint protection" is a joke. You cannot swing the hammer while holding it with your fingers going through the middle. Even the image on the product page showing a man smashing a window shows him driving a hammer in the middle. So what's the point of the split grip and "knuckle guard"? The belt knife is large and should be easy to use. If all you need is a seat belt cutter, this should work just fine as long as you don't use the bracket that…
