These DMR radios are very affordable, compatible with Motorola and Hytera repeaters and represent excellent value for their size and power output. Very professional style and options, they are easy to program via mini USB to USB and the software is easy to manipulate and easy to find instructions and usage on youtube too.

A great radio for the price, but I wouldn't buy it again. The software in the radio looks "cheap" and doesn't always get a signal, even when the green light comes on. You need to switch channels and come back for it to open and work properly. Almost freezing. Codeplug is not really compatible with other radios because of the strange software on the radio. Take RT-82 and you will be happy.

Although the seller claims it is an analog signal (in the questions section), this cannot be configured in software or through the radio. I think you'll be able to set up digital APRS in software somehow, but that's not what I was looking for. In that sense the software (and hardware as far as I know) is identical to the Baofeng 1802 but without modification does not use any code plugs with this radio. Looks like a solid radio but not heavy. The actual hardware just works and seems powerful. The CPS software doesn't make it easy to create channels and the descriptions are terrible.
