Large clutch of external accessories

After successfully bending the Blue Ox into an unexpectedly large dent in the road in our camper, I replaced it with this one. It feels more stable due to the additional bracing and is lighter due to the distance between the two side braces. To this day it works fine. I'll stick with Roadmaster products for the rest of my boat towing needs.

Pros
  • Few competitors

ideal for 4x4 camping trailer hitch basket lift

I bought this to 'lift' our Rola 4x4 camping basket. The device is rigid, heavy, with professional welds, there is nothing cheap about it. We loaded our Rola with 400 pounds of gear. The climb allowed us to cross 2 foot deep creeks and climb some crazy hills from the Great Sand Dunes on the 4x4 Medano Pass Road, without this climb we would have had to turn back.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Faulty

Hitch raise 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan

Will be used for next week's trip. I need to raise the hitch receiver on a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. I originally purchased a Curt riser for my Curt hitch, but the male end of the adapter was too short and the male end of the adapter hit the rear bumper before the adapter was properly seated in my hitch. This new adapter from Roadmaster is long enough to fit the hitch, offers good buoyancy and has a small clearance between the adapter and the rear bumper.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Problem

Definitely not a 200# voice weight receiver.

Attention buyers. Although Revain states in the description what Revain supplies if you order it through Revain it has a tongue carrying capacity of 200# but what I received was an older model Roadmaster only rated at 100# like shown in the photo in this listing. Although the plates connecting the two tubes are enclosed in additional welded gussets, they are positioned vertically and within the sideplates, rather than being welded along the outside edges of the sideplates as on the updated…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Product is non-standard in size and shape

After being warned by other reviewers that the rounded inside edges of the receiver made this adapter incompatible with many other accessories, I ordered it anyway in the hope that my a Kuat bike rack would fit as its shaft was also slightly rounded. Well, it wasn't round enough to fit in. Since I like the design and it's exactly the size I wanted, I tried to make it work with some sanding and peeling. Eventually it went in fine, but the pin hole was slightly offset by about 1/8 inch. Not sure…

OLD MODEL 076 was opened between two verticals.

OLD MODEL 076 was open between two vertical side plates and had an estimated tongue weight of 100 lbs. When you order this item you will receive a NEW version of the 076 that has front and back plates added to the vertical side plates for a full box assembly, increasing the tongue weight to 200 pounds as it is now much is stronger. and heavier than before. The part that confuses a lot of people is the image on Revain that shows the product label that says "tongue weight 100 pounds". For some…
