Description of Robinair (15195) Combination Inlet Tee Fitting: R-12 and R-134A Compatibility Explained

1/4 inch male flare x 1/2 inch ACME combination inlet fitting. For use with Robinair 15100/15200 series vacuum pumps. Replaces pump inlet fitting. 1/4 inch male flare fitting for R-12 and other refrigerants, and 1/2 inch ACME for R-134a. Machined solid brass construction.

Replacement for the original

My fitting cracked because someone mishandled my vacuum pump. The price was good and it is an original part. works perfectly!

This is what is best said in the tools and hardware section.

Bought this item for my yellow jacketed vacuum pump, says there is a check ball in the fitting that doesn't seem to be working. But maybe I did something wrong with that, it didn't affect the part in any way. I had to buy a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to fit my pump.

Suitable for retrofitting older pumps

Rebuilt old vacuum pump (actually a scientific high vacuum pump, overkill for refrigeration work but very fast and thorough) to use twin fittings . This is a replacement for Robinair pumps but can be adapted to fit many other pumps. This fitting features an internal check valve that prevents a system under vacuum from pumping oil from a vacuum pump that has been turned off or has lost power. This is a great feature, but it ultimately reduces the ultimate vacuum that a powerful pump can achieve.
