After that the damper worked perfectly. Chances are I won't need them

My Monarch Plus Debonair on my 2016 Giant Reign Advanced 1 was zero when I got it. I kept adding psi to the rear suspension so I wouldn't bottom out. I weigh 200 pounds with gear and was 225 psi. After adding 4 I saw no improvement. So I took it to a bike shop to have the shock rebuilt but they suggested adding up to 275psi. After that the damper worked perfectly. Most likely, these details were not needed.

Buy and experiment, it can improve your driving!

In case you didn't know, these o-rings are used in the outer air tank of your Rock Shox Air shock, specifically your Monarch Plus Debon Air. The main idea is to reduce the volume of the air chamber so you use less air and avoid falls (which will blow out your entire trip). Depending on your bike's suspension design, your weight, and your riding style, this may or may not be very helpful. In my case, all I need is an O-ring to avoid that "avoidable" bottom after the hard part of my favorite…

I don't understand why rubber bands are so expensive.

After buying them and realizing that they are really just a set of rubber bands, the price confuses me a little. Yes, they have a certain diameter and thickness, but it's still just a bag full of rubber bands for $0.02. I paid too much. I also misread the Rockshox Owner's Manual and the various videos available on my Monarch RL shock. I didn't downgrade due to an error of my own.
