You get what you pay for.

The only good thing about this pump is its price. This pump will do the job but I doubt the accuracy. I always write down my shock and fork pressure. I found 250psi before servicing the shock, re-inflated my shock and found it was too stiff leading me to believe the pump is not very accurate. It doesn't happen once, it happens every time. The second issue is that you lose about 20-30psi if you disconnect the pump from the shock/fork, which I think is way too much. As said, this pump gets the…

Serves my purpose

I have Rock Shock brand shocks on my 2013 Kona 26" MTB. I read the negative reviews here, but I still chose a well-known brand pump. It has a screw connection, so you'll lose a few pounds if you unscrew it to disconnect. Instead, it is better to use a lever valve. So plan on losing about 5 psi when you turn it off. You may also need to allow for about 5psi in the rubber portion of the connector. I experimented with pumping, disconnecting, reconnecting and after a few tries I got the intended…

Value for money

Not bad for the price. This is my second shock pump, before that I had an Avenir shock pump (http://www.amazon.com/Avenir-Shock-Gauge-Silver-Black/dp/B00165Q912/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top), unfortunately Revain don't sell it anymore . What I liked about Avenir is that it uses a two-tier connector. This allows you to first connect the hose before the pin snaps into place, and a second step will push the pin through and allow air to flow. In the same way, you loosen the pin and then you can…

Inaccurate, inconsistent, useless

My old Topeak percussion pump is worn out. I decided that a Sram/RockShox branded pump would be a good option for my RockShox fork and shock (for no good reason other than the name). I used it right out of the box last fall when I rebuilt the shock and fork. Wasn't very happy with how it worked at the time but was functional enough to get the job done. Bought a new bike over the weekend and spent the last evening adjusting the air pressure to set the sag. This pump is worse than I remember from
