Great little vise/horse for my small garage

I've been looking for a workhorse/vise for a long time and found the Rocwell RK9002. I chose 9002 because of the greater stability and the ability to use larger pieces of wood if needed. The quality of the vise is excellent. The learning curve for this workhorse is about an hour of gameplay. I'm glad I chose the heavier model when working on larger projects for stability. In the last three months I've completed two plumbing projects and dozens of woodworking projects with JawHorse. The…

Works but not as useful as I was hoping

Started with 3 stars then upgraded to 4 because it does what it says on the tin. (and now just turn it back down to three before hitting send because actually I might as well use other things for what I used it for so it's unnecessary) I just realized I didn't really used it for that and found it a bit difficult to use it for anything else. It's heavy and doesn't have height adjustment (like the Rockwell RK9034 JawStand XP Work Support Stand, which I bought two of which I really like). The…

Jaws "melted " but no more problems after release

Update: Welding problems were not observed. Managed to release the stuck sliding section with a light tap and so far it hasn't re-locked. Used for a time to hold a heavy piece of wood for a jackknife job and held everything in place. I'm starting to look into this case more, but I need more time. Original: Arrived two days late in a torn box with melted jaws. I tried gently prying it off with my foot as it unlocked and released, but it didn't work. Read the other reviews which led me to believe

Great tool but not used as much as I thought

I decided to buy it with the JawStand to use when building a workshop building but so far I don't use it as much as I used to . imagined I would. Maybe based on all the rave reviews my expectations were a bit high so I figured this would be something I would use on a daily basis. I'm not berating the tool - it's very cool - just saying I don't use it all day every day like I thought I could. In fact, I only used it for special purposes. and it came in very handy for those tasks. Those chores…

One of the most comfortable clamping systems I have ever used!

I bought one of these in 2012 and have used it almost every day since then. The main reason I chose this particular block was its ability to clamp a sheet of 4x8 plywood. It will clamp a sheet of plywood really securely! From a safety point of view, that helped me a lot. No one wants a blade of wood moving across them while cutting, but this has happened to me many times. I have little space and just couldn't always clamp the workpiece the way I wanted it. This jaw eliminates all of those…

Great tool! best power tool parts and accessories

I have never had a jaw horse before and have decided to buy this new model Sheetmaster instead of the original. It was a bit more money, but the added features and ability to handle 48-inch wide sheets without buying additional adapters were a bonus. My understanding is that this version is a little beefed up from the original, has a 48 inch capacity, has a different wheel/roller system and is easier to break. I wanted the Jaw Horse to be used primarily as a portable vise. For holding material…
