With an average height of 5'10185, I had to change from L to XL. I strongly recommend the larger size. The great ones were nothing more than glorified patches. While XLs prefer sleekness to volume, they're not skimpy. Gone are the days of James Cason's rollerball.

Bought these and immediately noticed they come with 3 elbow pads and a knee pad. Otherwise they are fine. You will definitely need to increase the size based on the measurements they provided. UPDATE contacted the manufacturer and the missing item was promptly replaced.

Bought and returned as 3 sets of pads before sticking with these. I'm a tall guy (6ft 4in, 280lbs) and this is the first shoe that fits well and I wasn't worried about falling off. Although they were a bit more expensive I think overall they are a good buy.

This is the second pair of knee pads I've bought while trying to figure out what size would fit me. These fit well. I bought the large size, I'm 5ft 7in and 170lbs. I would give 5 stars but the quality doesn't seem to be the best. I've only used them a few times but didn't expect them to last long given the term I use.

I ordered a medium sized kit for my son who is taller than me. I took measurements and I think I ordered the right size. My son tried on pads and they were too small for him. I ended up letting him use my little Rollerblade X-Gear pads, which worked for him. I'm 5ft 5in, 140lbs and I think the medium sized Rollerblade Skate Gear pads just about fit me. The adjustment straps are at the limit of their reach and will no longer loosen and are still quite tight.

After not inline skating for 20 years I recently ordered a set of 187 Killer Pads for maximum protection. While this is a great set, the pads were too bulky for my liking so I bought these lower profile rollerblades. Knees were on the low end of average. I ordered both sizes and the small ended up being better. The plastic sleeves were the same size, but the medium was only slightly larger. However, the sleeve bulged when I attached the Velcro straps. All in all, this set is worth the money. It

Love this protection set arrived earlier than expected. I had trouble finding knee pads that would fit some other brands. Knee pads are generally better for kids if you don't want to pay a lot for them. I had a medium sized set. The knee pads fit my knees perfectly even with thin, light pants. However, the wrist guard is a bit loose on my small wrists. There isn't enough velcro on the straps to really make them tight, so more velcro should be added to the straps to allow them to be tightened…
