Great buy for our swing! The only criticism is that there are no instructions included. There was a business card with a QR code leading to their website but I couldn't find any instructions there, only the option to register your product for a 1 year warranty. **Update: When you register your product, you will receive instructions via email. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

Bought a swing. The grandson wasn't enough. Bought to lengthen works great, I think it's overpriced and it would be cheaper to get the swing with the extra length, buy the longer one that comes with your item first and it will cost less. But it's very robust and easy to integrate with what you have. Only at a high price for the stuff you get.

I bought this set because the rope swing we bought was too short for our branch. This kit was longer, had more length options, and was easier to install than the (too short) extension that came with the swing. I also appreciate that they include Velcro to protect the branch from damage. Quality product and my child loves the swing!

I use straps to hang my hammock between two trees in my yard. The tree trunks are significantly larger than the branches that this set is designed to wrap around. I can't use velcro because even if both velcro are connected together it can't wrap trees. However, the nylon swivel strap is long enough to get around, so I use it without the velcro protector. The ropes are very strong and rated for over 1000lb. But while that's an impressive weight, the metal turntable is only rated for 500 pounds. Of course, this means the whole contraption will only support 500 pounds. The vortex is the weak link. It's probably fine for most uses, but I'm nervous knowing that if multiple kids jump on the swing at the same time (like kids do), the metal hinge can break and cause injury. Received the new tree swing but then realized it didn't come with any mounting hardware. The swing isn't fun if it's on the ground next to the tree. I have 10 foot straps for a hammock and they work great for it. The straps are about 11/2 inches wide so they prevent damaging trees. And I think with the included tree protectors they won't hurt themselves. They also seem to be easier to loosen if I keep my weight up all night (about 280lbs), my other straps are about 1/2 inch wide and when I take them off it's usually hard work. Overall the straps and protectors were solid for a month but I declined as one of the carabiners may have broken. The locking collar on one of the carabiners loosened after each use. It was when finger tightening the locking sleeve. I've never had a problem with any other carabiner. The first photo was taken after using the swing. You can see that very few streams are visible.
