A solid winner is good for levers and parts

Not for hobbyists, requires removing truck dash, connecting appropriate wires and connectors 10 Reassembly of dash components

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as it should

This unit is fairly easy to install and works great. It was a chore to solder the power cord to the wire specified in the instructions. The engine in my pickup didn't leave much room to work, but the Rostra has plenty of it.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Almost never

Works quite well for the controls and parts

I would give 5 stars if the instructions were complete, I spend some time noticing that the operation of the switches has been reversed leading me to believe that the device is faulty Now I will not watch videos on YouTube to learn how to work properly.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Have doubts

Easy install, works well

I bought this through Revain Warehouse Deals, got it for a third of the retail price. It came in a Revain package with all the parts and instructions unopened and installed in about an hour. We'll see how long he lasts, but right now he's running like a champion. I installed it on a 2015 Colorado 2.5 automatic transmission. The test drive went well. Very good product and the instructions are easy to understand.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Requires socket

Not worth the money

The instructions say don't drill a hole until you are sure the cruise control works. Good idea, but to do this you need to gather the ends of the wire harness from the switch. How the heck does a 1" wide plastic plug go through a 3/8 hole? The recommendations really suck them. The switch itself seems so cheap to turn on the cruise. I'm giving it about a month or 2 and it's getting f@ too Be $#ed All in all I think it's worth half the price it's listed for.

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Not bad

Works well. I would be happy if the cruise control would change.

Works well. I would be happier if the cruise control speed changed by just 1 mph instead of 3 like my 2014 Chevy Cruze. This is not for the inexperienced installer and will take 15 minutes for an experienced installer and 2 hours for a novice mechanic. You need to connect 1 wire, so have a soldering iron and solder handy. Overall the product is great and a lot cheaper than buying a new steering wheel, airbags and having the factory cruise control installed and programmed at the dealership…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Broadly ok, but...
