Worked great in parts

Perfect match for my 2018 Jeep. The front is now within 1/16 of the back. The instructions are simple. Installation tips not referenced in this manual are that the ABS wire mount can be cut and replaced with a zip tie. It does not have to be removed from the joint. The only thing that surprised me was that O'Rilley didn't have a printed engine manual for sale, it was all online.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Reliability

The set is good, but not for the faint of heart.

If you're installing them, do yourself a favor and swap out the shock absorbers right away. I had 70,000 leaks. These are certainly not inserts, the entire front section should fall apart badly. I had to pull on the axles to get the shocks in and out. All done with the new Bilstiens and now they look and drive well. At the very least, if you're not an experienced backyard mechanic, do it at a shop!

Nice little kit with the best parts

Did what it was supposed to do. Installed 285/60/18 wheels on stock wheels with 1.5" spacers (no friction with or without spacers when fully locked in both directions). These are the Eccpp spacers available here at Revain. Took about 4 hours to install, instructions are pretty good (you can download them from the RC website and watch some YT videos to get an idea of what's in store for you. LEVEL IT WHEN DONE! Street Me love these jeeps from the mall !

Mother of God. Where has the front gone!?

Be prepared to rip apart the entire front end. Axles, steering knuckles, everything. It's not an easy setup anyway. I like to think that I'm pretty mechanical by nature, but gosh, that was a tough setup. This is not the work of one person as I thought. Get a partner to help you slide the axle back into the diff while you reinstall the strut. Looks great after installation! Remember that you will need an alignment afterwards. I give 4 stars for the difficult installation. The rest is worth the…

Looks nice, difficult installation if you don't have the right tools

Pretty easy until you get to the part where you need to put the spacer bar back into the car. The CV shaft makes it difficult to reset, so save time and remove the CV shaft before attempting to remove the strut. It is possible to remove the strut without removing the CV joint, but resetting the strut with the CV joint still in the way is not possible. If you're willing to go through the installation process yourself, then this is a great giveaway.

Project not for the average DIY enthusiast

I gave this three stars because I ended up returning it for the installation and not the quality. I was wrong in thinking it would be like installing a lift kit on my Jeep Wrangler. . After purchasing Revain the next day, I went to the Rough Country website and downloaded the installation guide. WOW! To be honest the instructions were very intimidating. You pretty much have to disassemble the entire front end, including the calipers, rotors, ball joints and anti-roll bar links, which requires…
