Was very impressed with that.

Easy to install, works great, fits great no more of those quick bumps throwing me down the road. It's been installed for about 4 months now and it's still working. I really think it helps save the ball joints and other components because it eliminates all play. and my new tires are not as choppy as my old ones.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Long delivery time

mass improvement.

A big improvement over my 2015 Duramax. I can't believe the car didn't come with a stock steering damper. My truck has a Zone 3 Alignment Kit.” After leveling the truck with 35” tires, I noticed that the steering became very light and every little rock on the road would move the steering wheel. After installing the damper, it disappeared and the steering was great again. Highly recommended and installs quickly with all the hardware.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons

Suitable for 17-19 Sierra and Silverado L5P!

Used on my 2017 Sierra 3500HD Duramax. The install manual says it won't fit 17-19 L5Ps, but that's because those trucks don't have a mounting bracket. If you combine this with a SuspensionMaxx or BDS mount it works perfectly. Make sure you use the correct steel insert at each end. One is slightly longer than the other. I chose this stabilizer bar over the Bilstein 5100 as it is slightly larger in diameter than the damper.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Fits

Fits Silverado 2016+ 2500HD with aftermarket bracket or custom made.

Steering Stabilizer works great on my 2019 Silverado 2500HD. Since Chevy no longer installs steering stabilizers from the factory and BDS closed due to COVID-19, I bought two shocks for $7. I removed 1/4" from the bottom to shorten the tabs for clearance. I modeled the sway bar, centered the shaft path to mark the location of the cleats, and welded them in place. The sway bar immediately rotated and without problems with the gap.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some small things

Happy with this product!

Bought for my 2011 Chevy 2500hd Duramax truck in hopes it would help with the wandering feel in the steering. I installed it in about 30 minutes. It was very easy to install. Removed the skid plate and bolted it to the existing factory bracket on the frame and then widened it to bolt to the existing hole in the center link. I attached the skid plate with screws and drove the truck. It seems to have become more stable and make the steering more reliable. This appears to be a well built…

  • Sleek Design

A good hit so far for my Sierra 2500HD LML.

I got this shock because they didn't have a 5100 here or on the spot to match the rest of my shock front and rear so I got this one instead. The instructions could be better (diagram). Stability has greatly improved, it just needs to be leveled or have an alignment check done as it tends to tilt a bit to the right once installed. And with the wheels fully locked I feel like I can't steer as sharply as I used to, it feels like I'm in a Peterbilt dump truck. Works as a heavy diesel technician…
