They go exactly as it says in the instructions that come with spacers. You can rent a spring compressor, but that makes installation a little easier. I ended up using the strap because I didn't have the opportunity to go to the store and rent one.

Bought these for my 2004 Grand Cherokee to straighten the front of my Jeep after installing a 2" suspension jack. They are well made and easy to assemble yourself. The difference in the Jeep's looks isn't huge, but it's definitely noticeable and I even have a lift throughout the car.

They have worked well for me. On my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee I had a 2 inch coil spring lifter and bought these to raise the front a bit to level the whole car. The results were good. The installation was quite tight and in addition to the large springs fitting - my front axle was as low as it could go and I still had to hand compress the springs to get everything to fit. One thing that would be nice is a molded shape to better match the spring isolators. It still seems ok though.

These spacers fit and work as expected on my 2004 Grand Cherokee. The instructions were clear and included pictures to understand what/how/where the parts would be installed and installed. The price is for a simple gasket set. The spacers helped straighten the jeep but were not strictly necessary to fit the BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A P255/70r16 (this size fits snugly, wider and slightly taller without chafing and also fits the spare tire well). Excellent! Well made 3/16 inch thick powder coated steel. They went in with little effort, no spring compressor was required. I had to loosen the lower shock bolts and lower stabilizer bar bolt, and then "kick" the axle down lightly with my foot to remove the top of the spring. You don't need to remove the bottom of the spring from the mount, just tilt it so you can place it on the top mount, then slide the top of the spring and its insulator back onto the mount.
