Right Grade: Carbide is basically a mixture of tungsten powder and cobalt that is fused together under high pressure and heat. Spealloy cutting edge that is both the keenest and the most durable grade for woodturning available today. Right Geometry: Grinds all SPEALLOY cutters to the correct angles and geometries specifically for woodturning both cleanly and safely for all skill levels.Comes with replacement 4-40 countersink machine screw. Most convenient-Designed: 30° cutting angle ground to a razor finish for making smooth cuts in any hard wood. Excellent for Hollowing bowls,Designed for Finishers and Hollowers Wood Turning Tool. Could be a good value

This kit consists of three carbide inserts intended to be direct replacements for the full-sized Easy Turn wood turning tools and copies of those tools, like the Simple tools. I have an Easy Turn rougher and a pair of their Easy Start tools, and I can verify that the roughing insert in this kit does appear to be a perfect fit for the Easy Turn rougher. The price seems right, too, with a set of three costing close to what Easy asks for one tool. The problem, though, is that it’s impossible to…

nice and sharp, check sizes.

i have a round carbide that ive been using and really like it. i got this in hopes to upgrade the blade, but it's an 1/8' too large. the long-tipped blade is really sharp and cuts well. reasonable price, and handy container for keeping the pieces all together. overall i would recommend this to other woodworkers.
