Description of πŸ”² High-Quality 2" Round Open Screen Vent with Tab Style - Mill Finish - Pack of 6

Package of 6 vents. Made for thin materials like metal or glass or plastic. They do not work well in wood. The tabs need to be bent over from the rear. Fits in a 2 inch round hole. Have an insect screen but no louvers. Made for display cases, spice racks, reptile cages, etc.

They work perfectly when they come whole

4 out of 6 were damaged. Luckily I only need 2 at the moment and the other 4 are useless. They are all packed in a pouch with protruding pins. I believe they were damaged before they left.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • old

Designed for use in very shallow 2 " holes

The vent is best used in situations where the material you are using it in has thin walls. You can fold back the tabs completely after installing the fan.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Not safe

Great for reptile tanks

They're made from very thin aluminum so they're not particularly strong, but they're easy to install and add extra airflow. In my case I use them for Rubbermaid containers. as housing for reptilesThey are designed to be inserted into thin materialsGlassPlasticPossibly very thin plywood or laminate

Pros
  • Best in the alcove
Cons
  • Fits

Inexpensive solution!

In May I ordered a pitcher plant (Nepenthes alata) from Florida and a week after it arrived I found I had a stowaway! The Cuban Tree Frog is gone! I needed an aboreal terrarium for him and I made it! Those vents were perfect! Very easy to use and install and it won't break the bank! Rschunimagu. My frog has a comfortable home.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

Not worth the price

Some don't have part of the screen fully attached so I can't use them. I bought them for Crested Gecko aquariums. They are also not true to size, I ordered 2" and they are larger, but they are not even the next size up, they are between 2" and 2 1/8" which made it difficult to right punch a hole for them to make them great. Look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

Damaged on arrival.

I have ordered two packs of these 2 inch screens. They were sent separately. Both packages contained broken screens. Depending on what you're using, a little damage might not matter, but they still do the job. But I use them for ventilation in a reptile enclosure. These sharp edges can harm my animals or pose a risk of escaping in the future. Intact screens will serve their purpose perfectly. It just turned out that four of the twelve screens purchased were unusable.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

These screens are for birds.

. and insects, snakes or something else. Although our ceiling vents already have grilles, they were installed in the attic to give the birds a nice roost to keep warm at night. They were so fortunate that they could (and did) "make a mess" under the place they decided to camp. The holes in the blanket were 1-7/8" rather than 2, but I was able to make them fit by slightly bending the tabs. After buying a 6 pack to see if they would work I went ahead and bought a few more. I recommend them for…

Pros
  • Outstanding Achievement
Cons
  • Doubtful
