Works very well. My only wish is that the blue power indicators that light up when you activate a separate push button switch are brighter OR are on the outside of the unit. The only way to tell if you have an active USB data port is to physically pick up the device and look at the light OR by knowing you've pressed the power button for the hub. Update 04/18/2021 - Well something bad happened last night. I was trying to connect my keyboard's USB port to this device and a plastic tab in one of the ports broke my keyboard's USB cable and also shifted the contact points in that port and caused my Mac to stop the USB connection to this device due to Pre- overload accompanied by a burning smell.
