🐶 Camouflage Pet Kennel by Ruff Maxx - Size 36"/30-70 lb Review

Shipping box looks like it was grabbed by a 3 year old. A large box with no packing material, loosely sealed with tape. No wonder it got damaged. I will NEVER put my dogs in this cage. It would never last. I can't imagine this thing in the back of a pickup truck or an airplane. I didn't go back because I didn't want the hassle and this can be used for my purpose. I would not recommend this box to anyone.

Great design, easy to assemble. The only problem I see is the gate. When you close it and squeeze the handle to lock it, the bottom bar that slides into the hole doesn't slide in voluntarily. She clings to the plastic inside the hole. To sit down fully, you need to keep pushing the bar. So there seems to be a slight misjudgment in the alignment of the door lock deadbolts.

Bigger than expected but our Doodle will probably look like this when she's grown so I don't mind. Very durable. Fits in the back seat of a Pathfinder, but not in the trunk (Pathfinder 2013). But it's great to ride in the back of a truck. I think there are berths for the boat or maybe eaten (?). I am very satisfied with the price and the quality! I honestly expected to get junk, but got the complete opposite!

We bought this cage for my dog because he has broken metal cages several times. This cage lasted a few months but I have a husky and he could gnaw through the side. It started out as a small hole, but every time we stuck her in there, she just kept working on it. I definitely think it's worth the money and if the hole gets too big and needs replacing we will definitely be buying this box again.

A good drawer, but the latches on the door are scary to open and close. I had this drawer from early summer 2016 to March 2017 and I NEVER closed the top and bottom of one of them. Thank goodness my dogs are gentle and don't fight with the crate or they would have been kicked out. The locks just don't work. I bought two of these and can't wait for my dogs to be old enough to get rid of them for good.

This has lasted a year for my 75 lb destructive pit bull and rips extreme congas to pieces like rawhide gum. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a medium to high destructive dog crate. If the dog is determined to destroy it, they can; There's only so much plastic can handle. I think you have to deal with expectations. If you know your dog is highly destructive, it may be better to save up for a sturdy metal kennel.

This is our second purchase of this kennel. We have a 70lb and 80lb lab, each in sizes 50-70lb. For what we use it works great. Chasing, tossing in the back of a truck, or just using around the house for the price is perfect. Our last set lasted 4 1/2 years but probably could have lasted longer if my husband hadn't thrown them everywhere! If using outdoors or in the back of a truck, I highly recommend purchasing a kennel jacket. Protects dogs from bad weather and also protects the kennel.

For those buying this item for on the go, I didn't have an eraser or pen. not secure enough but it has small holes for an elastic cord. If they chew walls or plastic heavily, the plastic wall may not be strong enough. My dogs like the corner digging method with some teeth pulling so far so good in this kennel as there is no floor bar. It didn't work for wire kennels with standard snaps, not even bungee cords. It arrived damaged but I'm trying to be mindful of all the stops it has to make to get
