Looks good so far, easy to fit

They work quite well and look good. The wear section they attach should be stronger. They are not broken yet but where they go through the door panel they rub and over time this can become a problem.

    Perfect replacement/upgrade

My '99 Jeep Wrangler TJ is getting a much needed update and these door handles are part of that upgrade. They were awkward to install, mainly because you had to partially unclip the inside of the door! But once we made one side, the other side was a breeze. Love the grips and they are way better than the old ones they replaced. I highly recommend them!

but instead of sitting directly opposite the door like normal handles

I probably would have given them 5 stars but thought they were stiffer door handles. It's not like this. They're sturdy, don't get me wrong, but instead of sitting directly opposite the door like normal handles, they kind of hang. For me it's just an aesthetic thing because I have quite a bit of anal memory. If you don't mind the hanging part of the handle, you'll love them. They are sturdy and durable.

Looks good and easy to fit

I bought these to replace a broken door handle. The good thing was that they matched my handrails on the roll bar. Installation was quick and the instructions were easy to follow. They recommend unclipping the bottom of the inside of the door to get there, but I'm sure they can be installed without that. kinda hang what looks good to me.

    Save Body and Fairing Bolts

If you are buying this to replace your existing grips be sure to save the bolts that were used on the original grips. Although new screws are included, there is no guarantee that they will fit the original holes. If you're like me and are buying these to replace knobs that aren't there, be sure to get screws that match the holes for the same reason. After assembly, the handles are used to close the door. They appear to be structurally sound and have not had any issues since installation.

I always hated not having room for my arms.

Man I wish I had known about these door hinges years ago! I've always hated not having room for my arms in my 2002 Wrangler. after installing this belt MUCH COMFORTABLE. Installation seemed a bit complicated at first, but it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. The first one took me a while because I wanted to make sure I was doing it right. the second passed in less than 3 minutes. I read a complaint that these only hang on the door and there aren't many of them, but it's so nominal…

    Bad design. Cheap junk.

Bought these for my 1999 Jeep Wrangler which Revane assured me would fit but they do not. not really anyway. I bought the same ones from Quadratec a few years ago and had no trouble installing them. But they eventually wore out so I thought they were the same. After removing my old torn ones, I spent about 20 minutes trying to install them. only on one side. Couldn't figure out why they didn't "hook" to the back of the door panel like the old ones. Not to mention the hardware they came with…
