Warning, this description is wrong.

Attention, the description of this product is not correct. This is actually a front tie rod bracket for a 2.5" to 4" lift. I only discovered it when it was too late to turn back. The mount actually looks like a quality item if you want a front mount. I gave this shop one star because of the poor description, not the quality of the product.

Pros
  • Shock absorbers, struts and suspension
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Front Tie Rod Bracket

This tie rod bracket bolts on easily after drilling a hole in the original bracket. The problem is that the mount lowers the tie rod attachment point and changes the steering geometry. During my test drive it caused a lot of bumps. Once I took it off and screwed the caterpillar on, the steering was gone. This mount must be used with a drop down arm, but they have been known to add to the deadly swing. It's best to stick with the adjustable front track.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Something Else

Nothing nothing I didn't like about it. Anyone who has checked this and thinks it's designed to maintain the correct tie rod angle has gone insane. Of course, if you lower your jeep it could work, but no, and I don't mean if you put a lift kit on. Let's just say he raised it, not lowered it. I don't understand who in their right mind would use such a thin one-sided clamp to encircle both sides of the vertebrae. It's not, and I mean not functional.

Pros
  • chassis
Cons
  • compatibility

FRONT, not back - great product, but still NO instructions

Great product and well made, that's why it gets 5 stars, but the fact that there are no instructions is stupid. So I'll do her job. Nut and Crossbar (leave the driver's side crossbar attached), install the new bracket and crossbar bolt/nut and tighten (where the brace still has some movement). The bracket moves a little, rotates it counter-clockwise and marks the drill hole. Drill a hole for the new (short) bolt to fit tightly, after drilling, install the bolt, washers and nut and tighten…
