Ideal for diagnostic, test and measurement tools

People have a problem with this not working, they obviously wire it wrong. You need to find the series your batteries are working in. The easiest way on a golf cart is to see which wires go from your battery pack to your tow box. These wires will be your plus and minus. You can always check with a voltmeter. You should connect the positive terminal to battery positive 1 in series and the negative terminal at the end of the series, if you don't do this you will not get a correct reading and…

  • 10 segment LED bargraph, resolution: 10% per segment: 3 color LED display, different lighting visually indicates different battery levels;

Nice looking indicator. However, that is all!

I bought this battery level indicator to avoid traveling in the great outdoors without knowing the battery level. Unfortunately, the indicator was wrong, which saved me from worrying about a possible power outage and left me almost dry! Installation was easy and the ignition lock worked perfectly. That's why I gave two stars and not one. The power level display was accurate the first time it was connected, showing 100% for new and freshly charged batteries. The next day, the indicator fell to…

Pros
  • LED flash for low and high battery warning
Cons
  • Negative signal present

Inaccurate readings are best in tools and devices

I bought this sensor for my 36 volt golf cart. I bought this item knowing that this sensor is the benchmark. For example, I need to charge the batteries when the meter reads 1/2 battery because at that moment, while still charged, my batteries do not have enough voltage to run the cart. The pressure gauge is easy to install. After the initial installation, the pressure gauge correctly indicated the full charge. I started the car until the batteries died, at which point the meter read 1/2…

Pros
  • This device only works with lead-acid batteries, not Trojian batteries. Battery indicator LED available in 48V DC acid battery
Cons
  • There are new competitors

do not buy, it will damage your backpack

does not work as it should. I knew something was wrong when I drove 31 miles and the sensor hadn't moved. It wasn't until the buggy clearly stalled that the gauge moved a notch. I have three friends with them and we are all stuck because we had to cut a hole for the installation. I'll order a digital meter instead and remember you should never go below 48.3 on your pack and you'll be fine. If you use this sensor you will break your backpack and cause permanent damage. Update 8/3/19 Battery…
