I did a lot of research before buying and was torn between negative comments but I bought the wheel anyway. The first thing that struck me was how light these bars are, 91g lighter than my stock aluminum bars. Secondly, with the comfort of the bars, I had ear to ear smiles which was my main reason for the purchase. I bought these handlebars to upgrade my road bike and I'm very happy with them so far. In terms of weight, they hardly differ from my old aluminum handlebars, but they are definitely more comfortable. The flat top position is a nice change from the traditional rounded one and feels more comfortable on my hands. So far so good. I did a 40 mile test ride and one of the main benefits of these bars is that they offer more positions than a regular round bar. The flat aero position is very comfortable and has a slight downward angle, which I think is a more natural position compared to a flat top bar. I used them on my wife's new build and we both love them! Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned. Drawing lines through the bars is extremely difficult. It took me hours of effort on the couch to figure out how it worked for me. After the pain, the track is excellent, exceptionally clean, the brakes work without any problems.
