Ryobi RS 115 Replacement

Used to replace a pad on my Ryobi RS 115. It takes a bit of work but seems to work well and you can also use 5" rims which are lighter and more affordable. It will cost $9 but it was a good grinder. You will need a 3/16 and 3/8 drill bit. Just place your old pad on top of these and then twist it into the space between the holes. with and drill with 3/16 and countersink with 3/8. If you have searched you will see that this is a discontinued model. Then replace the screws. Viola!

Not compatible with all Ryobi 5 " random orbit sanders

Got this to replace a Ryobi random orbit sander I got at a flea market. The description said it was compatible with all Ryobi 5" random orbit sanders, but not in my case. My grinder has index posts located between the screw attachment points. This pad didn't have the required holes for the index posts so I had to drill them myself. This was easy and only took five minutes, but thought I'd post it in case anyone doesn't have a drill or doesn't want to do the job.

Attention buyers: cheap enough, does not fit Ryobi or Rigid. I have

110v power) or the ubiquitous Ryobi 5" hand battery Orbital. The description says it will fit/replace for part numbers that match these grinders. But not without re-drilling mounting holes that differ in alignment by 3/16" per hole. I have 5 grinders, all Rigid and Ryobi, models with different part numbers. And they all use the same pad that switches perfectly from grinder to grinder but unfortunately not with that "genuine replacement part" Ordered from Revain, made by Revain but within the 30
