SMSL Sanskrit 10th MKII AK4493 - Very good entry level DAC

Being new to stand alone DAC components I wanted to try something new to try something inexpensive but with good performance after doing some research I understood Chinese. a company with very good reviews from several manufacturers specializing in Hi-Fi, and the results have been very good. It runs smoothly, sounds crystal clear and the remote control is a very handy addition. I would recommend this product without a doubt. The only downside is that it took more than a month to receive it…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Makes me angry

A very economical upgrade for my Pioneer platter CD player.

Allowed me to upgrade my CD player from 1996, a solid Pioneer turntable that I pulled out of retirement when my expensive SACD player broke. Sound quality, ease of use and overall performance are beyond reproach when considering the value of this product. Fast delivery to New Zealand and we will packed.

Pros
  • Positives only
Cons
  • So-so

The quality was disappointing, the product is bad.

I can’t say anything about working through the line-out - I took it for headphones. What we have: (with the Sennheiser HD205II) the bass is clear, collected, but very little. When you try to correct the equalizer quickly comes overload (at 32 ohms). The mids are pretentious and often just cut the ear. The upper frequencies are difficult to assess, because. averages just get in the way. You can hear all the details in the mid/high range very well - you can even hear the recording and mixing…

Pros
  • Decent, metal case. Excellent detail in mid/high
Cons
  • Bad sound in headphones

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

I switched from the Asus xonar d1 card, the difference is obvious, overtones began to be heard in the HF range, the rustling of fingers along the strings, the low frequencies were dense and legible, the acoustics came to life. If before there was a need for a subwoofer, now it is not needed! Acoustics Infinity reference 162, amplifier Sony ta-fe710r, optics - computer. In headphones, I did not feel the difference between the output of the Sony amplifier, apparently it is no worse in it.

Pros
  • Awesome CAP! Crystal, dynamic sound.
Cons
  • I haven't found anything special yet, the only slight click when switching tracks in foobar.
